Apple Crisp Recipe with Truvia® Natural Sweetener

4 cups apples, sliced
1⁄2 cup water
1 Tbsp + 2 1⁄4 tsp of zero-calorie Truvia® Natural Sweetener Spoonable***
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
11⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄2 tsp nutmeg
Nonstick cooking spray
Crisp
1 cup rolled oats
1 Tbsp + 21⁄4 tsp of zero-calorie Truvia® Natural Sweetener Spoonable***
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
11⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄4 cup butter, melted
11⁄2 Tbsp brown sugar
1⁄8 tsp salt
Directions
Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 190° C.
For filling, place apples in a large bowl; sprinkle with water, Truvia® Natural Sweetener, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss to coat the fruit.
Spray 9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray; place apple mixture in dish.
For crisp, in a separate small bowl, combine oats, Truvia® Natural Sweetener, flour, cinnamon, melted butter, brown sugar and salt; stir to form crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
Bake 35–40 minutes until apples are tender.
OPTIONAL SUGGESTIONS
Pairs well when served with light vanilla ice cream.
If desired, peel and mash apples. Will reduce fiber content.
